Dragon*Con Skeptics Track Panels

As many of you know, I will once again be appearing later this week at the infamous Dragon*Con conference in Atlanta. In addition to my Scientific Paranormal Investigations Workshops (see earlier post), I will be appearing on the following panels:

Description: The stories by conspiracy theorists are as numerous and improbable. This panel will explore many of these stories and the people telling them.

Title: Skeptical Activism 201 – The Skeptics Strike Back

Description: From challenging anti-vax groups and homeopathy, to consumer awareness raising. What can skeptics do and how to get it right, by doing some research.

Title: Great Superhero Skeptics! The History (and Herstory)
Time: Sun 08:30 pm Location: 207 / 206 / 205 – Hilton (Length: 1)
Description: Many of us know some names, but who have you missed and who should we know? A roundtable discussion on great authors, thinkers, past and present.

 

There’s also a rumor that Blake “Dr. Atlantis” Smith and I might do a live MonsterTalk podcast, if schedule permits!
