Some of you may have heard of Melba Ketchum, the Texas veterinarian who claimed, in a self-published journal, to have found Bigfoot DNA last year. After failing to convince the scientific establishment (or, really, anyone else) of her claims, in the latest step of her fiction career, she has now written a young adult fantasy novel titled Mystic Forest.

Here’s a teaser: “When Gracie McKay becomes lost in the Pacific Northwest wilderness, she’s rescued by the elusive, magical forest people, an event that hurls her into a dangerous supernatural journey that changes her life forever and leads her headlong into her destiny.”

Can’t wait to read the dirty parts. Good luck with that, Melba.
